In this era of the Avengers movie, Assemble has the trad remit of satisfying longtime fans. The art’s nothing to remember, but the writing shows a sense of colorful superheroics, attention to craft, & a deep bench that recalls the Busiek run. This one’s a Black Widow mission, but J. Drew steals the show.
